New to breastfeeding?

You’ve come to the right place! Read on for informative, interesting and accessible articles about all things BOOB-related!

First off, well done you for making it this far. Whether you are already on your boobing journey or are just starting out doing some research days, months or weeks before you’re due, being truly informed about as many aspects of breastfeeding as possible will really help you and your family.

B.O.O.B.S aim to make accessing breastfeeding information and support in Salford easy for everyone, in order to increase confidence and knowledge in generations of parents to come, and help normalise breastfeeding in our wonderful city.

Since 2014, Kimberly (founder of BOOBS) and the B.O.O.B.S team have been speaking to mums across Salford and Greater Manchester about what their worries/issues/thoughts about Breastfeeding are, and what they wish they had known before they started. We’re compiling a range of evidence-based resources from this list – some written ourselves, and some from sources such as the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers or Jackie from The Breastfeeding Companion.
