Meet the BOOBS Team

We’ve been growing our close knit BOOBS volunteer team since 2015 and have an amazing group working both behind the scenes and on ‘the front line’ delivering our services to mums. Meet them below!

Kim – Founder

Kim started the B.O.O.B.S project in 2014 after researching into bf rates in Salford. She is passionate about helping mums achieve their breastfeeding goals. Her office door is always open – and you can email or call her directly if you need support or want to make a referral.

Rachel – Project Manager

Rachel joined the BOOBS project in 2018 as our project manager. Rachel looks after the BOOBS Approved campaign and working with our partner businesses and venues. Rachel is mum to Isaac, aged 3.

Kerry – Mother Supporter

Jo – Mother Supporter

Alicia – Mother Supporter

Alicia joined the BOOBS team in June 2018 after meeting Kim at a Mum’s Enterprise event. She is now a qualified ABM Mother Supporter & is passionate about supporting women on their Breastfeeding journey. Alicia is available for appointments in Boothstown, Monton, Worsley and Swinton. Olivia – Mother Supporter & BOOBS Approved Rep

Olivia joined in 2018 as a BOOBS Approved rep in 2018 on her maternity leave. She has gone on to complete the Mother Supporter course and is passionate about signing venues up and normalising breastfeeding. She is still currently feeding her 2 year old!

Kirsty – Mother Supporter

Faye – BOOBS Approved rep & Trainee Mother Supporter

Faye joined as a volunteer in 2015 to support the fundraising calendar project. She then continued volunteering, recruiting some of the first BOOBS Approved venues onto the scheme. Faye had a successful breastfeeding journey with her daughter Heidi for over three years, and continues to advocate and support the BOOBS social media pages and all things breastfeeding. She is now training to be an ABM Mother Supporter.

Charlie – Trainee Mother Supporter

Lucy – Trainee Mother Supporter

Anna – Trainee Mother Supporter

Anna became interested in the ABM Mother Supporter qualification after meeting Kim and hearing about all the great things BOOBS are doing to support and normalise breastfeeding in Salford. One of the reasons Anna has become passionate about helping other breastfeeding mums is due to a very difficult start to her breastfeeding journey with her son, which she managed to sustain for two years. She is currently enjoying a much easier journey with her 5 month old daughter.
