Breastfeeding Support update February 2021

The last year has been a roller coaster for everyone and not least for new mums and those already on their breastfeeding journey throughout Covid-19. We know that accessing support over the last 11 months has been rocky but we hope 2021 will be a better year for all of us.

BOOBS is now delivering our own peer support service via our online webchat drop ins, Monday -Friday 10 am to 1pm. We can help no matter where you live in Greater Manchester – you’ll be speaking to one of our trained peer supporters who are all mums from Salford or Bury boroughs of Greater Manchester. To access the support, you simply need to find the pink chat button on the homepage of this website! There should always be an option to leave your name and contact details if we are not online or don’t respond straight away (all our volunteers are dealing with children too!) and we will always contact you as soon as we can. If you come back to the chat, our system should remember who you are and you can continue the chat or start a new one.

If you’d prefer an appointment, please call Rachel on 07426835535 to book an appointment – you can choose webchat, telephone advice or a zoom call.

We are also running monthly Breastfeeding cafes on Zoom – a social meet up to discuss our theme, plus always a fun game or two with prizes!!

Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for both Salford and Bury: or @boobs_salford on IG @boobs_bury on IG.
