A brand new cafe-bar in Swinton has become the 100th BOOBS Approved venue in Salford.
Hadfields cafe, on Manchester Road in Pendlebury, was opened by owner Jenna only a few weeks ago and serves everything from Full English breakfasts and coffee to delicious homemade soup and amazing cakes and brownies during the day, whilst becoming the newest spot in town for a glass of fizz at night-time.
Now, they have signed up to BOOBS Approved, making them the 100th venue in Salford – a goal the BOOBS team have been working hard to make happen for the last 3 years.
Each of the BOOBS Approved venues signs up to an agreement which ensures they provide a safe and welcoming space for mums to feed their baby when out and about. The scheme has seen cafe’s, restaurants, leisure and wellness centres, Libraries, gyms, nurseries and soft play centres across the city sign up as Breastfeeding friendly since 2016.
Jenna said: “We are proud to support BOOBS and welcome all mums to our cafe – it is fantastic to be the 100th BOOBS Approved venue in Salford!”
Rachel Parkinson, Project Manager for BOOBS said: “It is great to sign up our 100th venue after working so hard to get here over the last couple of years – my role is to work with all of our partner businesses to make sure they have everything they need to support local parents and to sign venues up in every area of Salford so parents feel supported!
“We are so pleased our 100th venue is a brand new business in Salford – we look forward to working with them over the next few months.”
